HOPE Center

Unlike traditional homeless shelters and services, HOPE is a place Men can call home, live with dignity, have access to support services, and focus on rebuilding their lives and returning to independent living.

Contrary to many popular myths about the homeless, the #1 barrier Men of HOPE face in transitioning into independent and self-sufficient living is finding a home that they can afford.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
to provide shelter during inclement weather and services year around

Goal: $350,000

Raised: $221,000

purchased and rennovated the blighted building, including furniture, appliances, etc.

Needed: $129,000

to fund ongoing opperations, including utilities, insurance, case management, etc.
Contrary to much popular opinion, poverty is the underlying cause of homelessness.  West GA, the state of GA, and the nation are facing multiple crises: low-wages for full-time workers even in "skilled" industry sectors, high (and climbing) cost of housing, limited access to mental health care, and lack of supports and services for those who cannot care for themselves all exacerbate poverty and together they are leading to an increase in homelessness
